Job description
We are looking for an SEN Teacher to join our team at Underley Garden School based in Kirkby Lonsdale.
Purpose of the Job:
You will be working with the Headteacher on developing a curriculum and creating a positive and safe learning environment for the pupils, while promoting positive relationships between peers.
We seek SEN Teachers who have a therapeutic approach to teaching and learning. Candidates with a background in Early Years and Primary Teaching are suitable but must be prepared to teach students of all ages. Experience of working with Autistic pupils and willingness to lead on curriculum area(s) is essential. We need individuals who share our vision to empower vulnerable students in the UK to achieve happiness and independence.
Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and possess an innovative teaching style, motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.
