Job Description Summary: This role will see you provide support to both existing and future development programmes along with the configuration management (CM) requirements, including but not limited to: Job Description: • Identifying technical problems and applying/integrating solutions. • Identifying improvements and support the creation of work instructions, procedures, technical manuals, and guidelines • Supporting the creation of technical solutions against customer requirements; input to bids and proposals within assigned programmes/projects. • Acting as the configuration management support to the CM function on nominated programmes. • Facilitating and maintaining Change Control Boards (CCB’s) • Processing Engineering Coordination Memo (“ECM’s”) • Creating and maintaining the CM plan(s) within the assigned programmes • Management of the product data in the PLM system. • Supporting or generating test specifications/plans and/or alternate means of compliance (analysis/similarity) as required to demonstrate design solution complies with certification requirements. • Supporting technical and customer reviews, including formal gate reviews; the creation and preparation of technical data and presentations of product design. • Supporting the release of engineering design data and customer release data.
