As a Vice President Trader within the Strategic Index team you will guide strategic initiatives while scaling market execution and risk management processes. Job Responsibilities
* Price vanilla and exotic structures on indices, including commodity, rates, and cross-assets.
* Manage daily risk for the Commodity Index book, covering both linear and non-linear products.
* Collaborate with operations and infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach.'
* Participate in strategic initiatives to improve and evolve processes and business architecture.
* Work closely with traders to develop automated tools and enhance the risk management platform.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Experience in pricing and risk management of linear and non-linear payoffs.
* Extensive understanding of technical aspects of exotics risk management.
* Good understanding of commodities market structure.
* Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate, explain, and challenge as appropriate.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with control and project management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Experience in managing a risk book in commodities.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Familiarity with systematic strategies and index trading.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
