WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
This position is for the role of senior level outside sales representative, responsible for growing Spectra Logic’s business in the assigned regions of Northern and Eastern Europe.
The Enterprise Sales Representative (ESR) is a sales over-achiever with excellent communication skills and a consistent track record of exceeding quota. The successful applicant possesses a reputation for competence, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for winning.
Primary responsibility is to meet and exceed annual gross profit quota assignments and build territory revenue for the region. The ESR will prospect and close accounts in the territory against established competition by leveraging channel partners and through individual initiative. He/she will establish and nurture relationships with all levels of channel partner and enterprise business customer organizations as appropriate, including departmental through line of business and CxO levels.
The individual is expected to work independently, seeking opportunities to develop net-new business with channel partners, integrators, alliance partners and end users. The ESR works cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Service, Finance and Technical Support. He/she will be required to assimilate specific vertical market backgrounds, requirements and infrastructure attributes and apply this knowledge to sell Spectra solutions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
* A leader / consultative professional that will understand, engage & teach customers how our solutions can complement their business challenges! (The Challenger Sales methodology).
* Ability to build and manage strategic collaborations and networking with top tier VARs and alliance partners in territory.
* At least 5+ years selling data management solutions (software, hardware, cloud, and professional services).
* Hunter mentality and proven track record of prospecting and selling referenceable solutions to medium / large enterprise customers.
* Direct knowledge of key accounts and contacts in the territory.
* A proven history of consistently exceeding sales targets.
* A history of exceeding sales targets and annual quota goals is helpful.
* The ability to develop a prospect list, build a pipeline of opportunities and close business.
* Above average presentation skills.
* Strong internal desire to succeed in a dynamic fast growth industry.
* Ability to communicate extensively with all levels of the organization.
NICE TO HAVE:
* Business or Technical College Degree.
* Languages, English essential, Eastern languages or Dutch could be a bonus.
* Experience selling into Media & Entertainment, HPC, Commercial IT, Public Sector.
* Knowledge of alliance partners, NetApp, Cohesity, Veeam, Commvault, AWS, Azure.
TERRITORY:
* Northern & Eastern Europe.
TRAVEL:
* Position will require at least 65% travel within territory.
COMPENSATION:
* Base + Commission.
