Main duties of the job
Team Management:
1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of administrative staff.
2. Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
3. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
Operational Management:
1. Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
3. Manage office supplies and resources efficiently.
4. Participate in audits where appropriate.
Communication:
1. Communicate effectively with other team members.
2. Communicate effectively with patients and carers.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
4. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
5. Recognise peoples needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly.
6. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
Project Management:
1. Plan and execute administrative projects.
2. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
3. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Problem Solving:
1. Address and resolve any administrative issues or conflicts.
2. Implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
About us
Foundry is a single Practice PCN serving a population of circa 29,000 patients in the Lewes and Ringmer area of East Sussex. We operate from three surgery sites in Lewes and one in Ringmer, a mixture of both purpose built and converted buildings. Foundry aims to provide consistently excellent primary care to our local population and to develop a comprehensive population health management approach with our patients and partners.

* Minimum of 12 months experience in a senior role working with / in Primary Care or similar with transferable skills
* Experience of working on GP clinical systems
* Proficient in key Microsoft applications
* Experience in managing records and data protection issues
* An understanding of general practice.
