The Business Graduate will report directly to the Group Head of Information Technology. They will work closely with ERP system administration team and business functions across all parts of the business, particularly ERP functional experts. They will be involved with the upgrade of the ERP system focusing on processes, documentation and test plans. They will be responsible for reviewing departmental processes particularly those that touch or involve the ERP system. They will also be responsible for identifying process inefficiencies, ensuring processes align with ERP capabilities, and recommending improvements to drive system optimization and streamline operations across the organization. The initial 12 months of the role will focus on a system upgrade followed by ERP business improvement for at least a further 4 years. This aligns with an agreed collaboration with the ERP software service company to deliver ongoing improvements and efficiencies to the business. Key Responsibilities: Process Analysis & Mapping: Work with department leaders and ERP functional experts to review, document, and analyse current processes, workflows, and system integration points in the context of ERP functionality. Requirements Gathering: Collect detailed business requirements from key stakeholders within different departments to understand needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. System Alignment: Evaluate existing ERP functionality and work with IT or external vendors to ensure the system supports business processes effectively. Propose modifications or enhancements if needed. Documentation & Reporting: Create process flowcharts, process documentation, and requirement specifications. Maintain detailed records of analysis, findings, and recommendations. Data & Process Standardization: Assist departments in standardizing processes, data entry, and reporting practices to align with ERP system best practices. User Training & Support: Provide training materials and end-user support to ensure smooth adoption of processes within the ERP system. Act as a liaison between departments and the ERP System Administrators. Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the ERP system. Testing & Validation: Support the testing of new features or modules within the ERP system to ensure they meet business needs and align with process improvements. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the ERP System Administrators, development teams, and functional department leads to ensure the ERP system evolves to meet business objectives. Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, issues, and opportunities for improvement within the ERP system Requirements An interest in business analysis and process improvement, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus but not essential. Willingness to learn process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio. Prior experience is beneficial but not essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and propose logical solutions. A degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, or a related field. Some experience in business analysis or a similar role is desirable, preferably with ERP systems
