We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Print Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.97 - £16.56 per Hour
Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior Print Officer (Services) in planning in order to achieve key objectives and targets for delivery. This will include pro-actively seeking and establishing business opportunities to their conclusion.
* Monitor project budgets and workloads and provide progress reports on projects and orders as required by service users, senior officers and management and take appropriate action on variances by exception.
* Provide excellent service continually striving to improve efficiency, effectiveness and actively looks for ways of improving services and outcomes for the service and service users.
* Lead on the establishment and delivery of medium and small project, work programmes and plans and provide professional and effective solutions that meet the objectives and budgets of the all service users.
* Manage the technical specifications of all the print services; including fulfilment, direct marketing, variable data, mailing and distribution.
Qualifications:
* Essential service specific qualification(s) or evidence of equivalent experience of continuous professional development to a senior level in the relevant service area.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in the relevant service areas; Graphics, Print (particular litho, exhibition, digital and finishing), Fulfilment (variable data and mailing solutions).
* Minimum of 3 years experience of operating and producing, interpreting and presenting management information including financial reporting and work specifications off a print management information system.
