Constituency Administrative and Casework Coordinator (Two posts)
There are two job share posts available to make up one full time role, each at Grade 2 (Part Time).
Hours: 18.5 hours p/w each post.
People Before Profit is an organisation that promotes socialist politics, North and South. It currently has 1 MLA and 4 TDs in the south, as well as a number of councillors at local government level. This post will assist Gerry Carroll in his Assembly operation in a capacity of Constituency Administrative and Casework Coordinator.
These posts involve working alongside the MLA to maintain their constituency office by coordinating administrative and casework. This role reports to the MLA and the post will be based in the constituency office in west Belfast.
Minimum Requirements:
* Demonstrate experience of two years working on casework in a similar office environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* An ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the policies of People Before Profit.
* An ability to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team.
Shortlisting Criteria:
* Record of campaigning or organising that compliments the outlook of MLA Gerry Carroll.
* Experience in dealing with interest groups, trade unions, statutory agencies and lobbying groups.
* Relevant third sector or higher education qualification.
