In this position, you will have the opportunity to manage projects ranging from new builds to refurbishments and maintenance, with values between £5,000 and £2 million.
Contracts Manager Job Overview
* Enforce health and safety compliance on-site.
* Maintain clear communication with clients, site managers, and stakeholders.
* Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Manage programme schedules and ensure work is completed as planned.
* Coordinate construction drawings with the draughtsman and clients for approval.
* Handle multiple projects, ensuring budget control and timely completion.
* Procure materials and oversee timely deliveries.
* Participate in site meetings, resolve issues, and manage snagging before handover.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, clients, and suppliers.
* Oversee progress reporting for transparency and accountability.
* Interpret architectural and steelwork drawings to guide execution.
Contracts Manager Job Requirements
* Full driving license
* Based in or able to commute to the Midlands (Nottinghamshire).
* 7+ years of experience in industrial roofing, sheeting, or cladding.
* Proven ability to manage projects of various sizes in the industrial roofing sector.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PDF viewer.
* Strong understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
* Expertise in flat roof systems, including single-ply, liquid-applied, composite built-up, rainscreen, and composite cladding.
* Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships.
