To meet and greet patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner To coordinate and manage the booking of NHS patients referred to the Department both internally and externally. To effectively communicate to patients the details of all imaging procedures undertaken within the Radiology Department. To liaise effectively with all Hospital Departments and ensure that inter-departmental data flow is efficient and responsive at all times. To assist with the entry of scanned imaging information into the Hospital Health Information System (PACS). To assist with managing patient flow both in to and out of the Radiology Department including the provision of a patient reception service. To effectively communicate to patients the details of all imaging procedures undertaken within the Radiology Department. To maintain the Radiology Department Patient Record System, sending reports/images to external agencies To undertake the booking of subsequent out patient department appointments for review after imaging.
