We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in our daily accounting tasks. The position reports directly to the Finance Director and offers a great opportunity to grow within our dynamic finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect, organize, and post invoices into the Accounts Payable ledger
* Draft and manage customer invoices
* Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
* Participate in month-end close, including posting journal entries
* Maintain and organize digital financial records
* Assist in the preparation of VAT returns
Qualifications:
* Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records
* Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for numbers
* Hands-on experience with Excel and QuickBooks/Xero Online
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
* 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting (preferred)
