We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Portfolio Manager to join our Sales IT organization. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the entire portfolio of IT projects, programs, and related initiatives, ensuring alignment with our business strategy, optimizing value delivery, and managing risks across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Governance & Project Management: Lead the implementation of portfolio governance, and manage the approach to project and program management.
2. Cross-functional Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across various business functions to ensure seamless integration of IT portfolio processes.
3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor team performance, analyze KPIs, and report on portfolio progress to the VP of Portfolio & Delivery, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Demand Management & Oversight: Oversee the IT Demand Management process to ensure alignment with organizational needs and strategic priorities.
5. IT Portfolio Planning & Budgeting: Supervise the management of the IT portfolio, ensuring strategic planning and budgeting processes are followed.
6. CIO Office Liaison: Collaborate with the CIO Office to manage IT portfolio and program/project-related matters.

1. Change Management / Change Control (CHMG): Expertise in managing and controlling change in IT projects and programs.
2. Performance Management (PEMT): Ability to monitor, evaluate, and drive performance improvements.
3. Reporting / Information Management (IRMG): Proficient in tracking and reporting portfolio and project progress, ensuring transparent communication of results.
4. Service Level Management (SLMO): Strong understanding of ensuring service levels meet expectations and business requirements.
5. Demand Management (DEMM): Knowledge in managing IT demand and balancing resource allocation effectively.
6. Financial Management for IT (FMIT): Expertise in managing IT-related financials, ensuring budget alignment and ROI.
7. IT Governance (GOVN): Proficient in overseeing governance processes to ensure compliance and risk management.
8. Stakeholder Relationship Management (RLMT): Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Understanding of Business Requirements: A deep understanding of business needs, especially within the scope of IT operations.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience & Certification: 8+ years of experience in IT portfolio, program, and project management. Relevant certifications in frameworks like PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
2. Leadership & Team Management: At least 3 years of professional team leadership experience, preferably managing IT teams.
3. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage stakeholder relationships.
4. Education & Knowledge: University degree or equivalent, with a strong understanding of contemporary IT technologies and business needs.
5. Track Record: Proven history of successfully delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
