About the store
Flint Specsavers opened its doors in 2007 and sits on the main high street in the market town of Flint. The store has recently had a refit and project boost and looks amazing! There are 3 optical test rooms all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT. They offer enhanced clinical services including EHEW, WECS, glaucoma testing and cataract pre and post op care.A team of 13 dedicated colleagues call this store home including a resident optom and regular loyal locums. The existing Partner is passionate about the clinical development of the team, and as the new Optometry Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required.

Flint is located in North Wales on the banks of the River Dee, a picturesque town close to the Wales, England border. there's something for everyone in Flint, plenty of restaurants, shops both independent and high street stores as well as a leisure centre, castle and scenic coastal path.there's a train station within walking distance from the store where a train to Chester takes around 15 minutes or Liverpool just over an hour. there's plenty of cheap parking near the store as well as free parking in the high street for short stays.
Requirements of the role
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, you'll need to share the stores ethos. Theyre looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. you'll be a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, isn't afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team. In summary, you'll be a highly skilled Optometry professional willing and able to help drive the practice forward.
