Responsibilities
* Simulations of single and multi-storey complex data centres
* Modelling different scenarios or changes and seeing how they affect the cooling effectiveness under normal working conditions and during failure scenarios
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, detailed briefs
* Liaise with the Mechanical and PH Engineers and ensure an integrated solution is adopted
* CFD Modelling of high- and low-density cabinets, under-floor ventilation systems, racks, servers, PDUs, CRACs, fans, and diffusers
* Contribute to project and client meetings
* Promote machine learning and automation wherever possible
* You'll enjoy working on large scale and hyperscale (i.e., 5,000 servers or 10,000 square feet) and use your passion for Building Physics and CFD to your full potential.
* Working on global projects
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* CFD knowledge ideally 6-Sigma
* Reporting knowledge (Excel, desired Power-Bi, ideally: Tableau)
* Analytical Background
* Flexibility that focus/working time for different supporting tasks can change
* Previous team leadership experience (desired but not compulsory)
