For the role you will be expected to: - work independently within the physiotherapy team- prescribe, progress and develop exercise programs for patients undergoing rehabilitation which may include hydrotherapy, inpatient rehabilitation, pelvic health, remote rehabilitation and gym exercise sessions.- give essential support in setting up and management of smooth running of condition specific exercise classes for adults of all ages and abilities, this will include various administrative tasks.You will need to have a confident approach to work and demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients and staff. You will need to be physically fit. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding and willingness to work as part of a team, manage your own time effectively and work unsupervised for part of the day. Microsoft computer skills are essential for this role as you will be involved in data collection and reporting.Previous NHS experience is not essential, however experience in personal training or working with people with long term conditions in or outside of work is desirable.
