Inclusion officer required – full time, permanent contract (term time only)The Inclusion Officer role provides a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with the relevant experience of working in a behavioural support capacity to oversee the effective day to day management of our inclusion and ready to learn provision. This includes the monitoring and analysis of data to identify patterns of progress and behaviour and the organisation and delivery of interventions to support high challenge classes and pupils to be the best version of themselves.Bassaleg School is a successful, thriving 11-18 mixed comprehensive school in which pupils have very positive attitudes towards their learning and are supported fully in all aspects of wellbeing. • reduce the detrimental impact of disruptive behaviour on teaching and learning and our school community;• provide bespoke interventions for high challenge pupils to be able to access the curriculum with support and guidance;• provide targeted guidance and support for high challenge pupils to help them positively manage their behaviour e.g. one to one / group coaching and mentoring, in class support, updating one page profiles and other relevant documentation;• enable pupils to have time for reflection and regulation of their behaviour through an effective restorative approach;• be committed to professional development and maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement within a collaborative learning culture.
