Overview
Reports to: Consumer Lending Account Support Manager
Functions Supervised: Consumer Lending Account Support
Primary Functions: Responsible for Consumer Lending credit reporting and disputes, discontinuance and suspension of services, department reporting, and loan amendment processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for training and supporting Consumer Lending Account Support Officers.
2. Responsible for administration of all discontinuance of services to members who abuse account relationships.
3. Responsible for administration of Service Member Civil Relief Act (SCRA) as it relates to credit union policy on member accounts.
4. Supervise processing of all credit reporting and credit reporting disputes associated with credit union trade lines reported to credit reporting agencies on member loans.
5. Supervise compilation of data for monthly department board reports.
6. Responsible for review and monthly reporting related to substandard, paid ahead, and non-amortizing loans.
7. Supervise and assist with processing of loan extensions, modifications, and refinances for consumer and real estate loans.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Two years of experience with a financial institution, with duties and responsibilities similar to those described above.
Experience/Skills: Must have excellent organizational skills demonstrated with attention to detail in problem solving, situation analysis, and simultaneous coordination of multiple activities. Must have and be able to display strong oral and written communication skills. Leadership and interpersonal skills demonstrated in the ability to motivate, teach, and supervise staff. Proven skills in listening, negotiation, and management to handle difficult situations and personalities. Understanding of consumer credit reporting guidelines, expectations, and regulations is preferred.
Compensation
Consumer Lending Account Support Supervisor (Category 09)
Salary Pay Range: $69,557 - $112,677 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable, and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
