We’re looking for a Demand Planner to join the Nisa team and help us order stock for delivery into our warehouse. We’ll look to you to convert demand into supply to make sure the right products hit the appropriate warehouse at the right time, and at the right cost. If you can bring us the supply chain experience and organisational skills we need, we can offer you the chance to play an important role in the success our business.
What you’ll do
1. Purchase all stock held material for delivery into Nisa warehousing, maximising availability whilst keeping stock to a minimum across chilled ambient and frozen temperature products
2. Work with colleagues to improve supplier inbound performance
3. Action procurement needs for Nisa’s sales and marketing activities, and facilitate stock-building programmes where buying takes place outside normal purchasing periods (e.g. Christmas/Easter)
4. Analyse actual and projected demand from partners to make sure we’ve got optimum stock availability and the highest service levels
5. Facilitate annual forecasting processes with our supply base and all of the necessary development, analysis and reporting
6. Maintain accounts and make sure we’re working towards our stock holding targets
7. Collaborate with our suppliers to secure purchase order requirements and attend ongoing reviews of their performance
This role would suit people who have
8. Previous supply chain or demand planning experience
9. Proficient Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables etc.
10. Good organisational and analytical skills
11. Knowledge of forecasting and ERP systems
12. The ability to build strong relationships with internal colleagues as well as external suppliers and customers
