Job Title - Quality Control Auditor Job Purpose - Support Technical team in ensuring that all procedures and policies defined in Around Noon Quality and Food Safety System are adhered to through all stages of manufacture. Key activities - Compliance checks; Food quality and safety monitoring; Leading by example. Reports to - Assistant Quality Manager Deputy - N/A Shift - Dayshift Flexibility to work 6 days a week Mondays to Sundays. exact Rota to be confirmed at interview Summary of Roles and Responsibilities: Checking and filing factory paperwork, ensuring it is legible and correctly filled on daily basis. Conducting internal audits, calibrations and temperature checks. Reporting and completing non-conformance notices. Investigating metal detector rejects and completing reports. Collecting micro samples and preparing for lab collection. Checking, releasing or quarantining any non-conforming goods. Conducting taste panels and conformity and quality checks. Collating and reporting results. Monitoring the site safety, quality and hygiene standards internally and externally. Conducting gluten free production swabs to positive release. Performing start up checks. Managing concession process and log. Making decisions regarding removing any substandard products or ingredients and reporting to immediate supervisor or Technical management. Ensuring the CCP and key procedures are always adhered to. Preparing staff communication and giving training on compliance procedures where required.
