Join Close Brothers Salesforce Team where you will be working as part of an agile scrum team to continuously develop and improve functionality on the Salesforce platform based on business and the role holder's individual experience. The role owner will play a key part in analysing company processes, maintaining and developing solutions build on the force.com platform for specific business needs. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with product owners and members of the wider team to deliver improvements that have real business value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ability to work as an integral member of a Scrum Team in the implementation of software development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing and debugging, as well as managing their timelines and producing technical documentation.
2. Work closely with the business teams to maintain the Cloud Lending Originate and Sales Cloud suite implemented on the force.com platform. Developing custom solutions to extend the suite's functionality. This may involve discussing trade-offs with other teams, such as the terms of the configuration versus the code in place or mapping the functional requirements to existing functionality.
3. Collaborate with corporate Enterprise Architecture teams to create technical plans and strategies.
4. Design, document, and implement specific initiatives to improve business processes and the Close Brothers' CRM environment.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
1. You will be a hard-working / sleeves-rolled-up contributor who is able to deliver on time and with limited supervision.
2. You will have an advanced understanding of the principles/frameworks in the context of Salesforce, including development and testing of Lightning Web Components, but you will also be pragmatic and practical.
3. You will be a brilliant communicator with the ability to adapt your communication style to suit the level of the audience and materials you may produce.
4. You will have the ability to manage Sprints and to work with the business to help groom the backlog.
5. You will have some excellent facilitation skills and the ability to translate complex information into straightforward and succinct messages that can be easily understood by the wider business.
6. You will have a flexible approach, with the ability to assess and manage risk and adjust approach based on the situation.
7. You will have a proven track record that can be evidenced of implementing robust and scalable solutions.
8. You will have the ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts within the organisation and develop relationships with the impacted communities fast.
9. You will have an analytical mindset enabling fast identification of a user's needs and the ability to design innovative solutions.
10. Although you are self-motivated you will be able to work in teams, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanour toward colleagues.
11. Strong ability to develop functionality using the Salesforce Platform Languages: Lightning Components (LWC), Apex and SOQL.
12. Experience using programming languages: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON.
13. Extensive knowledge of configuring declarative tools such as flows, validation rules, dynamic forms, sharing settings, permission sets, custom metadata types and profiles.
14. Experience Cloud Sites development.
15. Knowledge using development tools such Salesforce CLI and Visual Studio Code.
16. Use of tools such as Git (GitLab) and Jenkins for source control and continuous integration.
17. Experience at integrating Salesforce with 3rd party applications (for example Quip, Conga, DocuSign) and with other internal systems would be a plus.
18. Bachelor's Degree in computer science, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience.
19. Extensive experience developing on the Salesforce Platform.
20. Certified Salesforce System Administrator.
21. Certified Salesforce Platform Developer l.
22. Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant.
23. Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
1. Knowledge of Node.js and custom SFDX add-in development.
2. Experience building UI components using Skuid.
3. Experience of the Cloud Lending Originate Application.
