Our Healthcare client in the Co Tyrone area is seeking an exceptional and compassionate leader in the new role of Chief Community Officer to take the organisation into its next phase of development. This post holder will work closely and collaboratively with the board, staff, volunteers, funders, regulators, residents, their families and the local community to develop and implement a new inclusive strategy and roadmap to ensure the community’s continued success and long-term future. They will provide effective leadership to the organisation so that its activities are developed, planned, delivered and sustained in line with the mission, vision and values of the organisation.

The Chief Community Officer will be required to deliver the following:
* Strategic leadership and vision to sustain and grow the organisation.
* Leadership to maintain support and grow the high-quality service being delivered which continues to meet the required standards.
* Effective governance, accountability and managing risk.
* Effective financial management.
* Raising company profile through stakeholder development and communications and securing funding opportunities.
* Grow and develop Company culture.
Responsibilities:
* Lead strategic change within the organisation at all levels by actively collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders to develop and share a collective vision for the future whilst managing the tactical delivery of service.
* Provide relevant, reliable and timely financial and management information to the Board of Trustees, stakeholders and decision makers. Management of accounting and payroll functions and arrangements in relation to service users’ monies.
* Support the Board in ensuring that the organisation, as a legal entity, discharges all its statutory and regulatory requirements by ensuring that there is an appropriate set of organisation policies and procedures in place to safeguard the effective management and control of the services including to ensure awareness of updates to essential regulatory requirements and best practice.
* Lead the development of a 3-to-5-year structured strategic planning process. To support the recruitment and retention of high-calibre staff who will be active and creative in furthering the vision, ethos and achieving the aims of the organisation.
* Ensure that there is effective organisational alignment of key management systems in the areas of quality management, resource management, HR, Finance and information systems and others. Develop and sustain positive working relationships with funders and regulatory bodies e.g. Supporting People, HSCT’s, other funding agencies, RQIA.
* Promote an organisational culture that supports high quality standards and high commitment as well as continuous self-reflection and self-development, including continued professional development. Represents the organisation at senior level external stakeholders’ meetings and events.
* Manage the system of performance and accountability.
Essential Criteria:
* Third level qualification in Business/ Management and/or Social Care or demonstrable substantial experience in managing within an organisation at senior management team (min. 3 years in last 10 years).
* Demonstrable substantial experience in managing change, governance and accountability in a values-based organisation.
* Experience of liaising with regulatory authorities at a senior level.
* Experience of service coordination and collaboration in a regulatory environment.
* Demonstrable experience of financial management, budgeting and managing substantial resource allocation including experience using financial software e.g. SAGE, XERO etc.
* Demonstrable experience in managing a diverse workforce.
* Valid Driving Licence.
Desirable Criteria:
* Good understanding of the social care sector, sector policies and trends.
* Experience in the Not-for-Profit / Charity Sector.
