What would I be doing?
Our excellent graduate programme and APC support aims to provide you with the best start and progression opportunities in your professional career to become a Chartered Surveyor. To support our ongoing growth, we are looking to recruit a graduate surveyor to start in our Rural & Residential Agency Team.

* Provide impartial and honest advice – even if sometimes, it’s not what their client wants to hear
* Understand their local markets – which allows them to value properties accurately
* Have a profound understanding of the buying and selling process – therefore, they can provide counsel, which only someone, who knows the process can provide
What do I need to have to apply?
We are more than happy to teach you all the technical skills you need; it is your personal attributes and commitment to the role that is key. Ideally, you will:
* Be a student from a Real Estate / RICS accredited degree (preferable)
* Have a passion and interest in the rural economy (preferable)
* Have excellent people and communication skills - both verbal and written;
* Have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to identify and solve problems;
* Adopt a consultative approach, able to identify and solve problems;
* Have the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at any one time, working in a way that is highly agile and responsive to rapidly changing client and site requirements
* Be committed to continuing your professional development in order to become chartered with the RICS
* Have access to transport, or be willing to do so by the time you start work, as you will often be required to travel to out of town client sites;
* Enjoy going out and about in all weathers, travelling across the region or further afield and working outside of the normal 9-5 when required.
What’s in it for me?
Salary: £27,000 per annum for graduates with a property related degree accredited by the RICS. Plus full support towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
We will consider non-cognate applicants, with a starting salary of £23,810, PLUS sponsorship for a relevant RICS accredited Masters level degree, and support towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor.
