Main duties of the job Some key responsibilities include: Lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies to improve patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and accountability within the team and the wider organisation. Develop and deliver training resources in collaboration with operational teams to enhance patient safety knowledge and practice. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, CQC Nominated Individual, and National SARC Director to: Coordinate CQC inspections, assessments, or visits, addressing findings and implementing improvements. Respond to CQC information requests. Develop and implement CQC compliance tools. Lead and oversee the organisations compliance with UKAS accreditation standards, specifically ISO 15189, ensuring policies and procedures meet the required criteria by adhering and supporting the maintenance of ISO 15189 and the FSR Code of Practice compliance including post accreditation Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, CQC Nominated Individual, and National SARC Director to: Coordinate internal audits and manage external UKAS (FSR) ISO 15189 inspections, assessments, or visits, addressing findings and implementing improvements.
