Your tasks:
* As part of our Global Plastics Technologies team at our site in Manchester, you will support the technology transfer from development to series production.
* You will be responsible for the plastic disposables of automated and manual platforms.
* Technical project management of injection-moulded components (part specification, tool approval, sampling, series start-up, capacity planning) is also part of your tasks.
* You will support suppliers in troubleshooting and process improvements through robust manufacturing methods.
* International travelling to our global suppliers, especially in Europe and North America, can account for up to 20% of your work and is no obstacle for you.
Your profile:
* You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering/plastics technology or a comparable qualification
* You have several years of practical work experience in the field of complex production systems in plastics technology
* Experience in injection moulding of microfluidic components is advantageous
* Experience in the pharmaceutical sector, chemical environment or GMP environment is an advantage
* You have experience in the industrialisation and production of integrated assemblies in a controlled environment and with common CAD programs
* You have a high degree of self-motivation and a quick grasp of things
* Business fluent in English and strong communication skills with a passion for interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration round off your profile
