Job Purpose
Working within our Dulux Decorator Centre retail operation, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop analytical models that support business decision making, incorporating market and internal data to underpin pricing & promotion planning.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide technical assistance within the pricing team to deliver monthly and quarterly pricing governance processes.
* Review post price change performance, providing analytical insight & recommendations for commercial actions.
* Maintain the implementation of price changes, provide reports to pricing team to highlight non-compliance of agreed positions.
* Identify opportunities & make recommendations for appropriate changes to prices.
* Collaborate with operational colleagues to understand the competitive landscape & use this insight in the price planning process.
* Evaluate success of promotional activity.
* Influence & input into the development of long-term promotional events strategy to maximize return on sales growth.
Job Requirements
* Worked as a Commercial Analyst with pricing experience.
* Data literacy & visualisation – strong MS Excel.
* Experience in one or more data analysis packages & visualisation tools such as SQL, R, Alteryx, Python, VBA, Tableau & Power BI.
* Comfortable managing & interrogating complex data sets to create tailored solutions.
* Effective at solving problems.
