We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Executive for our Independent Fast Food (IFO) Channel. This position will cover the territory of Scotland which includes Aberdeen & Dundee. Reporting to the IFO Channel Manager (NI and Scotland), this role is pivotal in achieving our business goals and objectives, aligning seamlessly with our sales strategy through a well-coordinated sales process and exceptional customer management practices. The Business Development Executive will need to showcase a solid understanding of the IFO sector and Foodservice while actively expanding both new and existing customer bases. This will involve a particular emphasis on cooking, sampling, presenting, and selling the Kepak product portfolio. Building strong relationships with key End-Users and collaborating closely with our Distributor partners will be essential to success in this position. Responsibilities Responsible for effective account planning that are fully aligned with Brand Plans to deliver consistency of execution and activation of key Customers whilst maximizing return on investment for the business. Responsible for input & participation in the CDT (Channel Development Team) meetings and process, incorporating cross-functional support to ensure tangible outputs and actions in line with business objectives. Coordination of weekly & monthly reports ensuring that the business is kept up to speed with regards to top-line business performance drivers, challenges, opportunities, proposed actions, latest developments in the marketplace, competitor activities, etc. Responsible for the development of strong customer relationships to ensure delivery of our growth strategy. Responsible for upkeep of all company data information collected during the daily role using the CRM system. Support and manage the development of high potential sales leads - develop business cases for review & approval by the Senior Management Team. Continued focus on self-development and your own competencies to ensure that you maintain a consistent performance level for the business. Being an ambassador for our products, services, brands and the company across both external and internal stakeholders. Requirements Key requirements: Experience within Foodservice sector is desirable. 5 years full-time Field sales experience desirable. Proficiency in computer skills. Strong communication and influencing skills. An ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with key end users and distributors, in order to drive sales for KFD.
