You will assist in the day-to-day running of a showroom, meeting and greeting clients, answering the telephone, and assisting the Office Administrator.
Annual wage: £14,560 a year
The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Your duties will include:
* Meeting and greeting clients and guiding them around the showroom or to an appropriate colleague.
* Assisting the Office Administrator, including scanning in documents and preparing correspondence to be sent to clients.
* Answering the telephones and directing calls through to the relevant department.
* Maintaining brochures and other displays.
* Keeping a record of clients that visit the showroom.
* Updating and maintaining client records on the CRM system.
* Learning about our products to help explain them to clients.

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Business administrator, equal to Level 3 (A level).
Your training plan
For this Apprenticeship Standard, learners will have the opportunity to focus on the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the standard that will allow for good business acumen, decision making, and the understanding of tools and techniques in relation to time and project management. The completion of this Apprenticeship Standard will require monthly training visits from a qualified IPS Trainer to help support the Apprentice. This will allow them to develop skills and progress in building the Apprentice portfolio to prepare the learner for End Point Assessment.
Delivery is primarily carried out through remote visits, but the trainer will visit the learner’s workplace quarterly and at the start of training to allow for a good working relationship between all parties for smooth delivery of the Standard. Upon successful completion, the learner will achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator Standard.
