Planning Manager
£50-55k
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm
Hybrid Working: 3 days per week on site
Location: Northwest
Job Role:
The planning manager will be tasked with formulating and planning manufacturing and packing schedules in line with sales forecasts ensuring that the optimum level of stock is maintained and SOP & GMP principles are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the site production plan to deliver the most cost effective and efficient manufacturing plan working with key stakeholders to deliver in line with key metrics such as line capacity, on time in full, out of stock and inventory.
2. Responsible for reviewing and adjusting supply and demand forecasts in line with sales forecasts to ensure stock levels are maintained.
3. Formulate packing and manufacturing schedules on a weekly and monthly basis to maintain the finished goods stocks.
4. Responsible for a small team.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar planning, supply management role.
2. Self-starter to help drive the planning function forward.
3. Previous people management/leadership experience.
4. Proficiency in Planning software.
