A Quality Manager is required to oversee the company's QMS, H&S and Environmental systems, ensuring compliance with ISO regulations.
A small but expanding manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Manager to work alongside the MD. The successful candidate will take ownership of the company's Quality Management System (QMS), Health and Safety (H&S) and Environmental systems, ensuring full compliance with the ISO regulations already in place.
The ideal candidate will have Quality Assurance/QMS experience gained within an engineering/manufacturing environment. Engineering qualifications are preferable but not essential. H&S experience is also preferred, as is materials experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Monitoring the company's operating processes to ensure compliance with the QHSE systems
* Overseeing QA and inspection activities
* Preparing and maintaining company procedures and work instructions
* Maintaining QHSE manuals and codes of practice (BSEN ISO9001:2015, ISO14000:2008 and ISO45001:2018)
* Planning and conducting progress and management reviews
* Scheduling and conducting audits
* Scheduling and managing calibration systems
* Monitoring and analysing defects, concessions, in-house repairs and customer returns, analysing trends and taking preventative action as required
* Training and supervising personnel in QHSE matters
The company offers:
* A salary of circa £35,000 depending on experience
* Hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, finishing 1.30pm on Friday
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 days used for Christmas shutdown)
