Job Title:
Engineer – Electrical
Location:
Barrow-in-Furness.
Salary:
£35,000+ depending on skills and experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Assisting the team in reviewing and setting standards relating to Electrical Infrastructure modifications and upgrades.
2. Working with the team to assess and manage new Low Voltage/High Voltage/Control & Instrumentation infrastructure requirements and deliverables in support of the business.
3. Provide input into problem solving and engineering issues relating to the subject matter.
4. Supporting the Site Engineering team developing requirements at capture stage and reviewing electrical submissions at design reviews.
5. Input into and management of site electrical processes, Operating Instructions, and Topic Manuals.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
1. Qualified in Electrical Engineering to HNC level or above.
2. Electrical Engineering experience.
3. Experience of working in an industrial engineering environment.
Desirable:
1. Qualified to degree level in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
2. Experience (or willingness to develop) in areas of Power Distribution or Control & Instrumentation.
3. Familiar with commercial engineering standards.
4. Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and electrical calculation software.
