New Role - Child Care Solicitor - Leicester - Legal 500 Law Firm
Location: Leicester
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
About the Firm:
Our client is a Legal 500 law firm with a highly regarded Child Care team that provides comprehensive legal support, representing children, parents, other family members, and foster carers in care and supervision order proceedings.
What They Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and technical expertise in managing a childcare caseload, including experience with Legal Aid, and be comfortable with advocacy. Being a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme (Children Panel) would be a plus but is not essential.
The Successful Candidate Will Need To Be:
* A solicitor with at least 1 years PQE in childcare proceedings and advocacy.
* Experienced in handling Legal Aid matters.
* Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Dedicated to excellent client care, recognizing the importance of building relationships with clients, third parties, and colleagues.
* A supportive team player, providing guidance to junior colleagues.
* Proficient in ICT skills.
