The Role
We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our team as Receptionists. This role involves maximising room revenue, providing efficient and courteous service, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organization skills, with at least one year’s experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
* Familiarity with daily hotel operations, including arrivals, departures, and special requests
* Promptly handle guest arrivals and departures, adhering to company standards
* Understand and meet guest requirements during check-in and check-out
* Ensure all cash, charge, float, and till procedures comply with company policy
* Be knowledgeable about hotel services and local area to assist guests effectively
* Participate in daily team meetings to stay updated
* Maximize sales through up-selling, incentives, and promotions
* Handle customer inquiries and booking requests promptly and courteously
* Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently
* Operate the telephone system according to standards
Requirements
* Experience in a hotel or customer-facing role
* Excellent customer service and organizational skills
* Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills with guests and team members
* Proficiency in using phones and computer systems
