Job Description
H&M Courier Services Limited is a private limited company in the largest industry in parts of the Midlands, the East of England and Yorkshire.
* Transport and distribution clerks and assistants perform various clerical functions relating to the transport and distribution of goods and freight.
* Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency in the distribution process.
* Manage inventory levels and liaise with suppliers and clients.
This is a full-time role with flexibility for some remote work, combining office-based work with the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process customer orders and forward requisition documentation to storage and distribution personnel.
* Formulate delivery loads, vehicle schedules and routes to be followed by delivery staff.
* Monitor tachograph readings and maintain records of hours worked and distance travelled by drivers.
* Obtain customs clearance and process import and export documentation necessary for the movement of goods between countries.
* Maintain records regarding the movement and location of freight, containers and staff.
