These workers, modify and repair various pieces of equipment and machinery to ensure we can produce a variety of products. The role offers the chance for you to develop your skills on numerous types of equipment and modern cutting-edge processes.
Wage
£18,186 a year
Year one starting salary is £18,186 rising to £27,424 in year 4. Salary paid monthly, annual salary increase subject to an annual performance review. Shift work and any agreed overtime will be paid at the relevant rate.

First year is based full-time in college, days and shifts to be confirmed. From year 2 the working week will be Monday - Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm, shift work will be required from year 2.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians (MST's) repair, service and install machinery and equipment in the manufacturing areas of the business
* Performing complex fault-finding activities on state-of-the-art equipment such as Robotics, PLC's, Control Systems, Power Presses, CNC machines and associated software
* You will need to be able to analyse breakdown causes and make recommendations on countermeasures

Our Technical Apprenticeship Programmes last 48 months and after spending an initial period at college learning the engineering basics you will begin working on site developing your competencies while continuing your studies on a day release basis.
The programme leads to a Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard which includes:
* Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
* Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
* Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
