Enfield Legal Services are recruiting a Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer. This is a fantastic opportunity for talented and ambitious professionals to join a friendly, committed, and highly regarded in-house legal team to help deliver quality legal advice, as well as making a real contribution to the quality of life and sustainability of the borough.
Specialising in general civil litigation including Landlord and Tenant, employment, licensing, commercial litigation, judicial review, injunctions, ASB, possessions, tenancy fraud, we are looking for individuals who are real team players, self-motivated, and flexible.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry a heavy caseload with minimum supervision.
2. Provide excellent communication and drafting skills.
3. Engage with clients at all levels and negotiate effectively.
4. Work collaboratively with other teams within the department.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant area.
2. Advocacy experience for litigator roles is required.
3. Local authority experience is desirable but not essential.
The post is part-time between 21 to 28 hours per week. This post is classified as a flexible worker and requires 2 days office attendance a week, although during the probationary period, office attendance may be up to 5 days per week to support learning and assist the post holder to excel in the role.
