Your Role
We are expanding our rail team. This newly created position offers you the chance to be a key player in a vibrant and growing area of our business. You'll support a range of duties to enhance the efficiency of our rail operations. Our rail function is a crucial part of our Government and defence contract, leading the way in rail transportation implementation. This is an exciting time to join and be part of a team that's going places!
Your Responsibilities
* Monitoring and upkeep of records along with document control of all safety and non-safety related documents
* Produce Time and attendance reports.
* Create Purchase Orders, ordering of PPE, dealing with all aspects in connection with Rail medicals.
* Monitor Rail drive to ensure document control disciplines are followed.
* Maintain register of due dates for competence examinations, medicals and audits etc.
* Booking hotel accommodation.
* Create and maintain department info, i.e. laptops, phones, IT equipment etc.
* Responsible for maintaining Rail organisation chart.
* Central Point for Management Information generation related to rail.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Ideally you will have excellent levels of attention to detail
* A good working knowledge of Word & Excel and willing to learn internal systems
* Be part of a team whilst also being able to work independently to meet deadlines
* A keen interest in rail would be advantageous
