Outpatient Services are part of the Clinical Support Services Division and provide outpatient support for the other Divisions. The Outpatient service is going through some exciting transformational changes and improvements. This is your chance to make a difference to our patients and be at the forefront of an evolving service. The successful candidate will be specifically interested in leading a clinical business unit during a period of change whilst still providing ongoing support to the other clinical business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the administrative services within outpatients and will work closely with the outpatient nursing team. They will need to work closely with all outpatient stakeholders to ensure the service delivery is to the benefit of the patients. There is a requirement to work Trust Wide as we provide services covering all our sites.
Main duties of the job

* First degree (BSc or BA) or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of health service management, including change management and workforce redesign
* Detailed knowledge of the NHS in the acute sector with up-to-date knowledge of medical/surgical specialities
