Kallanish Commodities & Kallanish Index Services are two globally recognised and respected B2B media organisation, producing news, data & pricing and indices in metals, steel and energy transition materials. Our news and prices are used by global professionals daily as well as available via Bloomberg, Dow Jones and other vendors. We are headquartered in London, and we have offices in China and Bulgaria, as well as presence in a further 11 countries including across continental Europe, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and USA.
As a European sales executive, you will be handling the following tasks:
Communicating via phone with clients based in the EMEA region - Europe, Middle East and Africa. Researching/prospecting and responding to leads generated from our website, marketing efforts and lead generation services
Helping to commercialise our various new gold and hydrogen price indices
Maintaining client accounts in our CRM, invoicing, and taking payments over the phone
Travelling to attend occasional face-to-face client meetings, as well as industry events (both organised by ourselves and external)
Providing feedback directly in the office to the Global Head of Subscriptions and the Company Directors
When not travelling, your average work day will look roughly like the following:
~70% phone-based outbound calls (usually 60-100 dial-outs or 2h talk-time)
~10% sales CRM administration
~Fluent spoken and written in English
Strong communication skills, excellent phone manner
Legal right to work full-time in the UK
Previous sales experience isn't a requirement to apply as we will provide training, but the following is desirable for this role:
~1 year or more of previous sales experience
~ Good spoken and written fluency in another European language
~ Hammersmith (W6), London (hybrid working, with 2-3 days expected in office – or more, if that’s what you’re looking for). We are also a casual clothing office space, so no formal attire unless you are visiting a client, attending an event, or wish to dress formally.
0900-1700, Monday-Friday (including 1 hour for lunch)
Base salary starting from £28,000 per annum + OTE, whilst salary will vary depending on level of experience and skills. Uncapped commission at competitive market rates, as well as bonuses - excellent performers can expect around £50,000-70,000 gross earnings per annum in their first year.
