The Role
:
As a Deputy General Manager, you will be overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Control operational costs and manage budgets proactively.
2. Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
3. Ensure accurate stock control and resource planning.
4. Empower staff to anticipate and fulfil guest needs autonomously.
5. Conduct regular training and development sessions to maintain high service standards.
6. Maintain effective communication through regular team meetings.
7. Support organisational initiatives and uphold service excellence.
8. Stay informed of and communicate hotel updates and changes.
9. Optimise staff rotas to meet wage percentage targets.
10. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to optimise food and beverage operations.
11. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HR procedures.
Requirements:
12. Previously worked as a Food & Beverage Manager in a similar role.
13. Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role.
14. Familiarity with relevant legislation (Food Safety, Health & Safety, Liquor Licensing).
15. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Skilled in IT systems; knowledge of Rezlynx would be beneficial.
