We are currently looking for qualified secondary English teachers who are experienced in teaching the KS3 and KS4 English National Curriculum and national GCSE and equivalent examination specifications for a minimum of two years. You will be expected to deliver high quality online English lessons usually on a one-to one basis. We would also like to hear from qualified teachers who are also ESOL trained. It is not essential that you have experience of teaching online as full training will be given. This is a flexible role and you can decide on the amount of hours you work to suit your lifestyle. The salary is £25 - £30 per hour with no hidden deductions. All applicants must: • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status and have a minimum of two years teaching experience. • Commit to the paid training requirements for this role • Hold or agree to an enhanced DBS. • Have access to the internet. You will be fully supported to register as self-employed and gain the associated professional insurance if freelance working is new to you. INTERVIEW TASK Please prepare a KS4 30 minute online English lesson. You will be asked to present your lesson preparation for 10 minutes during the online interview. OVERVIEW Five Rivers Virtual Education is a nationwide online education platform. We work closely with schools and local education authorities to offer high quality education packages for children missing education due to a number of reasons, such as, placement changes, LEA transitions, school changes and wellbeing.
