Your leadership skills will be utilised in managing a team of 20 highly skilled packing technicians in the preparation of highly complex and valuable aerospace equipment for international shipping
You will be planning, allocating and monitoring the work load across the dispatch area ensuring high value equipment is packed correctly for air, sea and road transportation
You will undertake on-going Continuous Improvements, root cause analysis of throughput problems, formulate corrective actions, create new SOPs, review and update Health & Safety risk assessments
You’ll need a background of strong people management skills including appraisals, training plans and performance improvement initiatives
To reflect this, you need a recognised management or leadership qualification combined with experience in a manufacturing environment
