Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dispenser to join Beacon Medical group, based at our Wotter Branch dispensary. The role is varied and will keep any candidate interested. The role is to project a positive and friendly image to dispensary patients and other visitors and deal with queries in a professional, courteous, and efficient way. To prepare and dispense prescriptions and miscellaneous over-the-counter medicines/appliances and assist with stock control, ordering and re-stocking of the dispensary. The suitable candidate must also be driven and able to work on their own. The role is to dispense medication safely to all our Wotter based patients, ensure that drugs and medicines are prepared efficiently and safely. Alongside this the candidate will provide assistance to the practice pharmacy team conducting clinical audits and support with medication related projects. The role also works to ensure good stock control with sensible ordering with a twice a year stock take.
