Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School in Bolton
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome challenges? A secondary school in Bolton is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs in a mainstream school setting.
The Role:
1. Work closely with students who require additional behaviour support, offering guidance and mentoring.
2. Build positive relationships with students to help them develop confidence and resilience.
3. Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage engagement in learning.
4. Work alongside teachers, pastoral teams, and SENCOs to create personalised support plans.
5. Support students both in class and through one-to-one interventions.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, or pastoral setting.
2. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
3. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
4. The ability to build rapport and act as a positive role model.
5. A relevant qualification in education, psychology, youth work, or similar is desirable but not essential.
