About the role
As a Test manager, you will be responsible for managing all software testing across the organisation, ensuring the quality and reliability of systems and solutions. This includes managing testing for internally developed systems, offshore development, SaaS tools, third-party solutions, and system integrations. You will develop a test strategy and test delivery framework to integrate manual and automated testing to reduce test windows while maintaining quality standards. This role will be key in driving the adoption and implementation of automated testing across applications and services. You will also work closely with internal development teams, offshore partners, and third-party vendors to ensure consistent testing standards and successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
* Lead and manage the test team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy and framework across the organisation.
* Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including offshore development teams.
* Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Actively participate in the execution of test cases and ensure thorough documentation of test results.
* Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices.
* Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to improve the reliability and performance of our systems.
About you
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
* Considerable experience in test management, preferably within an offshore development delivery model.
* Proven hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
* Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall.
* Experience working with offshore development teams and third-party vendors.
* Proficient in using testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
