We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility! This role will be suitable for Pharmacists with community pharmacy background, looking to break into the NHS.
Job Title: Pharmacist Band 6-8a
Location: South Yorkshire - NHS Hospital service
Duration: Minimum 3 months (booked month-by-month)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm (1hr lunch) - Flexible start/finish times, minimum 4 days/week (ideally 5)
Start Date: ASAP, April or May 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £24 - £37 per hour PAYE (via LMS), depending on experience and banding

What You'll Be Doing: Join our team as a Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients within a busy NHS hospital service. In this role, you will:
1. perform comprehensive patient assessments
2. create and implement personalised care plans
3. deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
4. collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
5. maintain accurate patient records
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. a current and valid GPhC registration
2. experience working in hospital wards and/or dispensary ideal, but not a necessity (NHS or strong community background with solid references)
3. strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
5. a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers flexibility and requires availability from Monday to Friday (minimum 4 days per week). The contract is for a minimum of 3 months with strong potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
