Your New Opportunity
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join our well-established adult services in Greenock. You will be responsible for undertaking the role of Registered Manager of two small residential Care Homes, Westview and Quarriers Finnart Street. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading two established teams who provide support to individual residents with all aspects of their lives and encourage them to be active citizens who participate fully in their communities. You will be supported by two very experienced Team Leaders, one based in each of the Care Homes, as well as a part-time administrator. You will have management responsibility for a team of 17 contracted and 9 Relief Support Workers and for service delivery of over 500 hours of support per week.
Both Care Homes are located in quiet residential streets in the West End of Greenock, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and other support needs such as Epilepsy. The two Care Homes support 14 people in total and are fully occupied. Overnight support is provided by sleepover staff.
Care Home Details
1. Westview: A residential care home for up to eight adults with learning disabilities, consisting of two buildings on the same site. The main building is a large detached Victorian property with five bedrooms, a large kitchen, two living rooms, and a staff sleepover area. It also includes a Coach House with three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Both properties share spacious, well-maintained front and rear gardens with attractive views of the waterfront. Local amenities such as shops, public transport, and community centres are nearby.
2. Finnart Street: A traditional detached villa with six individual bedrooms, a shared kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. There are gardens to the front and rear of the property, and an office base in the centre of Greenock where you will have your own office, along with meeting and staff development space.
Role Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, your role will be to lead and manage the team, ensuring that contractual compliance with the Local Authority and the terms of our Care Inspectorate Registration are met. You will work closely with the Operational Manager and Team Leaders to ensure support staff are well-equipped to deliver positive outcomes and high-quality care to each person supported. Each person supported will have different needs; therefore, we are looking for a passionate, driven professional who thrives in an empowering, person-centered environment where each person has a voice to shape service delivery, enabling individuals to live happy and fulfilled lives.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, 5 days over 7. Additionally, there will be on-call duties on a rotational basis. There will be opportunities to work from home occasionally in line with our agile working policy and service delivery needs.

* SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management).
* Experience in managing a team of social care professionals.
* Ability to prioritize and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
* Ability to develop and build long-lasting relationships.
* Drive and determination to deliver and support a service that promotes adult independent living.
* Driving license is essential and access to your own vehicle.
