Key Responsibilities:
To provide support to the Managing Director to run the organisation to deliver high quality and efficient fire and safety services to our customers. The role will focus on the following key areas of the business:
* Business Management
* Administration
* Finance
* Fleet
* HR
* Marketing
* Royal Warrant Coordination
* Procurement
* Companywide internal communication
For the first few months, this position will focus on supporting the Finance Manager and Managing Director in reviewing and developing administrative processes, systems and building a strong operational platform to support the business.
Responsibilities:
* Diary and calendar management for the Managing Director and Senior Management Team.
* Meeting management: scheduling and setting up internal and external meetings including agenda management, minute taking, action tracking and relevant communication.
* Information management: management of electronic and paper filing systems including structure, access, policy, quality control and data protection.
* HR/recruitment support: providing administrative support on all aspects of HR and recruitment.
* Procurement: supporting all teams on procurement through research and ensuring compliance with procurement policy.
* General office duties as required.
* Quality management system coordination and communication.
* Health and safety system coordination and communication.
* Provide other governance support as agreed with the Managing Director.
Requirements:
* Experience in a busy, diverse and demanding role, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
* Experience in coordinating activity within a large team.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills including confidence in Microsoft Office.
* Understanding and experience of data protection requirements.
* Demonstrates good humour, patience and empathy when required.

Salary: £30,000.00 – £35,000.00 per annum depending on candidate and experience.
