About the Role
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for a role in procurement administration? My Client, a leading business within their niche in the Construction Industry is seeking a Procurement Administrator to join their team at their Dewsbury HQ. Office based 3 days per week, remote (if you want) the remaining 2 days This role is essential in providing support to internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient purchasing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage incoming purchase requisitions via Sysaid and take appropriate action.
* Purchase materials as per business requirements.
* Oversee and distribute call-off requests from requisition demands, ensuring supplier commitments are met.
* Maintain an up-to-date and accurate list of approved suppliers and hauliers.
* Collate and maintain open order/expediting reports to ensure accuracy.
* Administer invoices and resolve queries within company timescales to facilitate payments.
Who You Will Work With:
* Support the buying team as required.
* Engage with suppliers to resolve supply and payment issues.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
* Office experience in an administrative role.
* Computer literacy with basic data input and management skills.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* An appetite to undertake the CIPS qualification.
Preferred:
* Some experience in procurement or supply chain management.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, and ISO 37001 procedures.
