We are looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner with a strong interest in supporting and developing our staff and students. Your role will be to work alongside and support the Band 7 Lead Clinical Facilitator to ensure the Training and Development needs of our Staff are met. The initial focus will be implementing Training and Development plans and supporting a number of new starters to the Department. You will be required to oversee Mandatory Training records and ensure compliance is maintained. Maintaining Clinical skills and being seen as a visible Clinical Role model is an important aspect of the role. To contribute to the Continual Development of a Quality Service ensuring best practice is followed resulting in Optimum Patient care. Carry out Inductions and Implement training plans. Ensure regular review and progress checks for new starters. Support leads for Student nurses and student ODPS where required. Monitor mandatory training and compliance and facilitate / support staff in completing the tasks. Contribute to putting together yearly training plans. Support staff with advice on development and career progression. Help put together training sessions and training days. Deliver training sessions in clinical practice and in sessions away from the clinical area.
