Position:
The E-Commerce Manager sits in the Customer Marketing team and is responsible for optimising on-site experiences, increasing conversions, and driving customer engagement through on-site banners, ads, and strategic UX enhancements. This role focuses on Shopify site optimization, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and leveraging on-site promotions to maximize revenue.

Requirements:
Required:
* Experience in e-commerce with a background in delivering Shopify projects.
* Shopify expertise – experience with Shopify store setup, customization, and app integrations.
* On-site engagement tactics – pop-ups, banners, dynamic content, and personalized on-site promotions.
* Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) – experience with A/B testing, heatmaps, and funnel analysis.
* Data analytics & tracking – proficiency in Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, and other user behaviour tools.
* Strong UX/UI understanding – ability to work with designers and developers to implement site optimizations.
* Experience with site personalization tools – Justuno, Privy, Rebuy, or similar Shopify apps.
* Ability to interpret data and implement actionable insights for continuous site improvements and report key findings to the business.
* Project management skills – ability to handle multiple projects and execute under deadlines.
Desirable:
* CRM Integration & Customer Data Management – Expertise in integrating Shopify with CRM platforms (e.g., Adestra, Klaviyo) to synchronise customer data, track purchase behaviour, and enhance customer behaviours for increased conversions.
* Ability to manage Shopify’s backend settings, including payment gateways, shipping rules, tax configurations, and third-party app integrations to ensure a seamless e-commerce operation.
* Technical Setup & API Integrations – Experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to modify Shopify themes and enhance UX. Knowledge of Shopify’s GraphQL and REST APIs to integrate CRM, ERP, and logistics systems for automated order processing, inventory synchronization, and fulfilment workflows. Understanding of automation tools like Shopify Flow, Zapier, or Make.com for streamlining backend operations.
